Kelsey and Nicholas
After dating for four years, the actors were on a vacation in Capri, and Nicholas got down on one knee on a boat in the midst of a cave in the Blue Grotto. After dreaming of a jungle style wedding, the Zika virus broke out and with only three months until their wedding date, both the venue and design had to change.
In the dream scene the air was relaxed and food, drinks and music filled the entire reception all through the night, realizing that location was hardly a factor in creating their dream wedding.
Kelsey stunned in her Amy dress, the dress that opened fashion week in Australia, 2016. A beautiful A-line silhouette and a deep-V neckline, detailed with intricate beading and sparkle, she was a true princess on her special day.
With the detailing of the occasion inspired by the Mediterranean, olive branches were used in Kelsey’s bouquet and in the flower girls crowns, and the theme flowed into the aisle for the ceremony, layered in Mediterranean rugs and terracotta pots. Inspired by Capri, a sentimental location for the couple, the ceremony and reception were decked in little reminders of Italy, including limoncello’s to open the event.
The stunning photos ooze style, romance, and elegance, and are a great reminder that love isn’t created just for the wedding day, but for a lifetime of together.
