Michaela and Love
Michaela and Love created their own wedding-like vow renewal overlooking New York City, and funnily enough, if it weren’t for COVID, they might not have even considered the event.
An intimate event of eight guests at their dream venue, Michaela and Love jumped on the opportunity at The 620 Loft & Garden to celebrate an afternoon of love and four years of marriage. With bohemian touches, a tented lounge was created complete with a record player and cocktails.
And the special touch? The couple didn’t have a photographer at their wedding in 2016, but this time, Amy Anaiz photographed the special moment, one they can now treasure forever and share with their children.
Michaela fell in love with the feminine and unique design of her Liz Martinez dress, and despite thinking she would never be one to wear a veil, she fell in love with the matching veil to her dress. Michaela wore Bulent, from the stunning SS 2019 Istanbul collection. An ivory dress adorned in flower appliques on the bodice, and a full tulle skirt with subtle dotted detailing on the outer layer.
This story of love reminds us that celebrations, dream dresses and dream locations don’t have to end after the wedding, because love has no expiration date, and even years later, there are reasons to celebrate. Even if that reason is just love itself.
The intimate celebrate was spent with loved ones, and had a backdrop just as epic as their love story.
