Olivia Robinson

Olivia and Jordan got married in New Orleans, where they both first met.

How was the wedding day?

My wedding was beyond what I dreamed of—My vision completely came to life. When I was picking my venue, the most important thing to me was that I wanted it to feel very authentic to the city and it was exactly that. The ceremony felt very intimate and romantic and the reception really felt like a house party in an old-world, French setting. The venue was actually one of the first banks in New Orleans that they turned into an event space, so it still feels very antique.
My vision was to throw a moody, dark and sultry, old-world French house party. Lots of gas lanterns, rich colors, candelabras, velvet, antique furniture and plush florals.
How did you choose your Liz Martinez wedding gown?
Once I picked the venue I knew I wanted to wear long sleeves and lace. I had seen Liz Martinez dresses on Instagram and I immediately fell in love with her designs. The Nami gown was one of the first dresses I tried on and I knew in that movement that it was the one. It is the perfect mix of elegant and sexy which is exactly how I would describe our wedding.

How did the dress make you feel?

The dress made me feel so beautiful, sexy, elegant and chic. The fit was beyond flattering, it really hugged my curves in the most beautiful way, and the lace details on the neck and back were so intricate and stunning.
